About Us

A message from our President..

On behalf of the Kiwanis By the Bay both past and present members, we welcome you to review our website to see the community services and events going on in our area. The Kiwanis motto symbolizes the dedication and pride our members have in providing encouragement and outstanding services to our local communities in the tidewater area. Monthly, Kiwanis By the Bay members participate in various events, from children reading programs, Key Clubs, Veterans Administration, Bingo, etc. that keeps us in touch with this community. For those interested in becoming a member, we invite you to please Contact us.

Kiwanis clubs and members are guided by six "Objects."

  • TO GIVE primacy to the human and spiritual, rather than the material values of life.

  • TO EXPERIENCE the daily living of the Golden Rule in all human relationships.

  • TO PROMOTE the adoption and the application of higher social, business and professional standards.

  • TO DEVELOP by precept and example a more intelligent, aggressive, and serviceable citizenship.

  • TO PROVIDE through Kiwanis clubs, a practical means to form enduring friendships, to render altruistic service and to build better communities.

  • TO COOPERATE in creating and maintaining that sound public opinion and high idealism which makes possible the increase of righteousness, justice, patriotism, and goodwill

Strategic Plan
